What I did before.
I worked more than 15 years in international fuels trading. I negotiated contracts worth more than 100 million dollars a year, and I covered North America, the Caribbean and Latin America at the same time. That work comes down to one thing repeated thousands of times: agreeing precisely who delivers what, when, at what price and under what proof, and then verifying that it actually happened.
It is the same discipline that missions giving is missing, and it is very nearly the only thing I brought with me from that career.
Why I left.
For the last 9 months of that career I worked 80 hours a week. I worked hard, and my health was paying for it. My daughters were growing up and I could not be there.
I had known for a long time that there was something else I was meant to be doing, and I kept putting it off. In June 2025 I resigned, and I built toward Kingdom Guild from there.
It is not open yet. The things still to settle are named on the home page, and I am working through them with people who have done this before. I earn my living elsewhere, which is what lets me say that nothing given here has to pay me.
Why this, and not something else.
I sent 100 dollars of my own money to a small chicken project and found out, through my own fault, that I had never agreed how anyone would account to me for it. The whole story, with the ledger and what went wrong, is on the home page.
What I learned there is the entire project. Proof has to be designed before the money moves, reporting is real work that belongs in the budget of the person doing it, and whoever gives has a right to follow the work to the end without having to take anything on faith.
How I work with field partners.
I travel to meet in person the people whose work will appear here. I have been to Guatemala and to Colombia, two countries I can name without putting anyone at risk. I have also travelled to restricted regions, and those I will not name. I attend pastors' conferences to hear firsthand what they need.
When a project can be shown safely, it appears with the name of the person carrying it forward and with its cost. When naming someone would put them in danger, I verify the work myself, publish only what is safe to publish, and tell you plainly that I am leaving something out and why. You will never see on Kingdom Guild the name, the photo or the location of a person for whom that could be costly.

What I do not have yet.
Kingdom Guild started recently. It is not yet a non-profit, it is not yet open to receive donations, and it has no revenue.
I have no testimonials to show you, because nobody has used this platform yet. I have no results to point to, because I funded the first project myself and it closed without the follow-up I wanted. And there is no audience behind this yet.
I would rather tell you here than have you find out later. What I can offer you today is the standard I am going to work to, and a plain account of where this stands, including the parts that have not gone well.
About my family and my faith.
I am married and I have daughters. My wife leads our girls' education at home and I take part without being the one who teaches. Out of respect for them I do not put them on display publicly, and that is the same reason I protect the people in the field.
Faith runs underneath all of this and I do not need to announce it in every line. Kingdom Guild will never ask you for money by appealing to guilt, and it publishes no political content of any kind. If you ever read something here that makes you feel pressured to give, write to me and I will correct it.
